Terms and Conditions for carriage of Goods and Passengers by Peace Mass Transit Nigeria Limited (PMT)

  1. Passengers must possess valid ticket for a specific journey and tickets are not transferable.
  2. Fares charged are determined by PMT and can change without notice. Passengers should have a valid means of identification or travel document
  3. Passengers should be at the terminal 30 minutes before departure time to avoid waiving the right to their ticket 10 minutes to the departure time
  4. Cancellation and amendment on tickets can only happen at the place of issue; not less than 24 hours before departure time
  5. Luggage above 10kg and could not be accommodated under the passenger’s seat can only be carried via Peace Express (Courier)services. this is to accommodate less weight load but space consuming.
  6. Passengers should insure their lives and luggage as our agents, staff. Peace Mass Transit Ltd. and Peace Express (Courier) services Ltd. are not liable, because we are not licensed to operate insurance cover. As a social responsibility, we offer N150,000.00 in case of death, N50,000.00 in case of permanent disability and N20,000.00 in case of injury.
  7. No smoking, no alcohol, no pets and no chemical is allowed in the bus
  8. Passengers must not possess prohibited drugs, sharp objects, arms and ammunitions while traveling in our bus
  9. Children below 12 years should travel with an adult
  10. Pregnant women beyond 34 weeks of pregnancy cannot travel with PMT without a doctors certificate of safety
  11. Our buses don’t go beyond 120km per hour. Peace Mass Transit introduced the speed limiter on Nigerian roads and it was commissioned by the then, Federal Road Safety Corps Marshal, Chief Osita Chidoka, in 2009
